Dr Rick Kausman

Medical Doctor, Author, Speaker

Dr Rick Kausman is a medical doctor who is recognised as the Australian pioneer of the person-centred, non-diet approach to wellbeing. Dr Rick has written two books including the award-winning 'If Not Dieting, Then What?', he is the creator of a number of other resources, and has had several articles on healthy weight management published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr Rick was an Executive Council member of the Australasian Society for the Study of Obesity for 9 years; a Fellow of The Australian Society for Psychological Medicine, and a Director of the Butterfly Foundation. Dr Rick is a professional speaker who speaks for health professional groups, the general public, schools and business. He has also creates and facilitates health professional training, upskilling all health professionals in the person-centred, non-diet approach to well-being and healthy weight.
