Speaker

Evelyn M Field, OAM

Psychologist, Author, Speaker

Evelyn M Field OAM is a psychologist, professional speaker, bestselling author and regular media commentator. She has spent over forty years helping students and adults develop social survival skills and manage school and workplace bullying. Her passion was recognised in the Australian Queens Birthday Honours, June 2014, “For service to the community, particularly though school and workplace anti-bullying initiatives.” The key to managing bullying is understanding what bullying involves, why it happens, the organisational damage, the personal injuries and symptoms, as well as developing a variety of strategies to manage it more collaboratively and effectively. Evelyn is dedicated to helping communities become empowered to manage bullying in a respectful, collaborative manner, while avoiding any adversarial behaviours. Evelyn provides consultations, webinars and training to manage school or workplace bullying, training for mental health professionals, and presentations around social and emotional resilience and other psychological topics.
